Former Swoon Wheat-paste Wall

As demonstrated by Harrel's photograph of the spot that I chose, this awesome wheat-paste put up by visiting artist Swoon has been painted over. Swoon works with life size prints she makes of her friends and family and decorates her hometown's bare walls with them. She visited Portland last Spring as part of the Monday Night Lecture Series and bestowed the wall of the abandoned deli on 6th avenue with one of her works, which was painted over the summer. However, the outline remains and if the wall is viewed closely you can still see the remnants of her gift.
