The Meetro Cafe

I sat for a little over an hour in the Meetro Cafe located on the corner of the King Albert building. While enjoying my orange juice and messy, yet delicious, slice of coffee cake, I took some time to quickly sketch the people who were also in the cafe at the time. These other people, like me, were just there to enjoy something to drink or snack on and maybe get some work done at the same time. The Meetro is described by the employee behind the counter as a comfortable, chill place for people to just sit back, relax, and get some studying done. According to her, the Meetro has been around for about 15 years and is rumored to have been a small grocery store before a coffee shop. She says the Meetro is designed to be a nice small shop where students can find near anything they need without having to travel too far from the dorms. The Meetro sells everything from coffee to pop tarts to toilet paper and they also accept dining dollars for anyone with a PSU meal plan. So if you live in King Albert, Steven Epler, or are just passing by the area, stop by the Meetro for some coffee and something to munch on.
